Christmas 2024 at Henry’s
Remember we’re open all year round! We’ve got plenty of sheltered places to stay warm and dry, or perhaps some Old Rosie to get you by!
Meet Henry’s new members
In November 2024, we adopted some of Dairylands' pets. We welcomed two Pygmy goats, ducks, chickens, and Brian the Rhea. Be sure to say hello when you visit next—Brian has a special love for fruit!
Winter work
If you're a regular at Henry's, you’ll know that every year brings new tweaks and improvements to the campsite—especially during the quieter winter months. It's the perfect time for outdoor projects, like building stone walls, driving the digger, planting, and expanding garden areas, as well as protecting existing plants from the Cornish strong winds!
The Tiny Little Big Gig
Each year, we host a mini music weekend, a scaled-down version of the once larger festival, Little Big Gig. While it’s become more intimate, it still captures the same high energy and fun. Over the years, we’ve been lucky to feature incredible talent, including Spunge, Land of the Giants, Future Dub Orchestra, DJ Descafeinat, Malavita, RSVP, and many more!

The Kazfest
On July 29th, 2024, we hosted Kaz Fest, a heartfelt celebration of Karen Butler, who sadly passed away. The event brought together everyone who knew and loved Karen. Not only was Karen an old friend, but she was also a beloved figure at Henry’s. She was the spirited force behind our popular summer kids’ craft evenings, which were always a hit with families.
Remembering Keith
14th November 2020, not only did Henrys campsite lose a valuable family member, the Lizard village lost some light. Keith played a big part of the community, his humour, smile and big belly will be greatly missed.
