FAQ
-
Check-in & Check-out time?
Arrival is from 12:30 - Departure is 12:00
Please follow these to avoid congestion down the campsite lane!
-
Are we dog friendly?
Dogs are not permitted on-site during the summer holidays. If you plan to bring a dog outside of the holiday period, please ensure your dog is exercised offsite and kept on a lead while on-site, as we have ducks and chickens roaming free!
-
Do our pitches have electric?
All our pitches come with electrical hook-up, available for an additional fee. If you only need to charge a phone, this can be done at reception for 50p.
-
Can we turn up un-booked?
You are welcome to arrive without a reservation, but we can fill up quickly during busy months. To secure a pitch, we recommend reserving in advance with a non-refundable deposit via email or phone. If you prefer not to reserve, pitches may still become available due to cancellations, so you are welcome to try your luck.
-
When do we close?
We don't! We are open all year round, come rain or shine :)
-
Are there shops nearby?
We’re just a 2-minute walk from the village centre, where you'll find plenty of ice cream and Cornish pasties but no tescos or the usual supermarket. That’s why we have a small shop on-site, stocked with everything from penne pasta and Curly Wurlys to crackers, cheese, ice, burgers, milk, and more!
-
Are there beaches close-by?
Absolutely! The renowned Kynance Beach is just a 25-minute walk from the campsite, and Polpeor Cove is a 20-minute walk away—perfect for a bike ride and seal watching! There are also other scenic coves along the coast path. Just be sure to check the tides before you set out!here
-
Do we allow fire pits on-site?
You’re welcome to bring your own fire pit, provided it’s raised off the grass—bricks are available at each pitch if needed. Alternatively, you can rent a brazier from us; we have plenty available.
